贾国平
JIA Guoping
贾国平 中央音乐学院作曲二级教授、博士生导师,曾任中央音乐学院作曲系副主任、图书馆馆长,现任教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地中央音乐学院音乐学研究所所长、中央音乐学院第12届学术委员会副主任、第四届教学督导委员会主任。
1963年生于山西省离石县(现吕梁市)。1975年考入山西省离石县文艺班学习晋胡演奏。1977-1980年在离石县晋剧团工作,担任晋胡主奏。1980-1984年在山西省戏曲学校学习晋剧音乐,并同时随范远安学习钢琴,随李崇望学习作曲。1984-1987年在山西省吕梁地区群众艺术馆工作。1987年考入中央音乐学院作曲系,先后师从于瞿小松与徐振民教授。1991年中央音乐学院作曲系本科提前毕业,并留校任教;1994年获德国高等学术交流基金会(DAAD)奖学金,留学于德国斯图加特国立音乐与表演艺术学院,先后师从于Rolf Hempel教授、Helmut Lachenmann教授。1998年7月获德国艺术家文凭回国后,继续在中央音乐学院作曲系任教。2000年师从吴祖强教授在职攻读博士,并于2006年获得中央音乐学院作曲博士学位。
贾国平的创作涉及室内乐、管弦乐、民族管弦乐、舞剧等。曾接受世界多地音乐节与院团委约创作,作品被阿蒂提弦乐四重奏(Arditti Quartet)乐团、多伦多新音乐团、德国E-MEX室内乐团、中国国家交响乐团、香港中乐团、德意志交响乐团、慕尼黑爱乐乐团、曼海姆国家歌剧院交响乐团、墨西哥OFUNAM交响乐团、美国巴德学院交响乐团、奥地利维也纳音乐与表演艺术大学交响乐团等许多世界知名室内乐团和交响乐团在各国演奏,并由人民音乐出版社、上海音乐学院出版社、中央音乐学院出版社、德国Sikorski国际音乐出版社、英国Peters国际音乐出版社出版发行。
2007年至今,他发起的“中国ConTempo新室内乐作曲比赛”已连续举办10届;2011年组建北京现代室内乐团;2011-2014年参与策划并主持“北京国际作曲大师班”;2015年主持国家艺术基金音乐评论人才培养项目。他曾获“德国高等学术交流基金会(DAAD)奖学金”“霍英东教育基金会高等院校青年教师奖”“宝钢教育基金优秀教师奖”“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”“中央音乐学院金校徽”“北京市优秀名师”奖励。作品《雪江归棹》获国家艺术基金2018年度资助项目。
贾国平曾参与主持的科研项目包括:《诺诺早期十二音创作分析与研究》 (211工程教材建设项目2004-2006); 《20世纪80年代以来中国器乐创作研究–室内乐创作研究》子课题负责人(教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目02JAZJD760002);《中国专业音乐创作与传播未来发展研究 ——新时期以来中国专业音乐创作经典作品音乐分析-管弦乐卷》子课题负责人(教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目16JJD760003);《国家艺术基金促进音乐发展成效评估》项目组副组长、子课题负责人;《中国大百科全书》(第三版)音乐学科编委会副主编。

JIA Guoping is one of China’s most prominent composers of concert music. While his catalog includes a number of acclaimed chamber and ensemble works, he is best known for his mastery of multidimensional writing. Jia’s music has been played by most major orchestra in China and numerous ensembles overseas, including the Arditti Quartet, the Toronto New Music Ensemble, the E-Mex Ensemble, the Deutsche Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, the Mannheim National Opera Orchestra, the China National Symphony Orchestra, the Mexico OFUNAM Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra. Born in Shanxi Province in 1963, Jia developed an early interest in Chinese traditional music, serving as the principal Jinghu player at the Jin Opera House of Lishi in his teen years. After four years serving as chairman of the music department at the Culture House in Lvliang, he studied composition at the Central Conservatory in Beijing and graduated in advance, becoming an instructor in harmony and composition in 1991. A grant from the German Academic Exchange Commission (DAAD) brought him to Stuttgart for four years of study with Helmut Lachenmann at the Hochschule there. He also participated in the world-renowned Darmstadt Summer Course.
Returning to China, Jia has served on the composition faculty of the Central Conservatory of Music since 1998. He holds the position of the director of Musicology Institute at Central Conservatory, which additionally operates as the Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, promoted by the Ministry of Culture. Jia has been a distinguished advisor for doctoral students at Central Conservatory since 2006.
Strongly committed to cultural exchange between China and Germany, Jia has devoted vast energy to organizing concerts and scholarly events. He initiated the annual Con Tempo Composition Competition in 2007 and, in 2009, the German Contemporary Music Festival. Many of his students have also gone to Germany for advanced study. In 2011, with the support of the Siemens Foundation and the International Ensemble Modern Academy, Jia founded the Ensemble ConTempo Beijing, the first Chinese ensemble for modern music in which Western and Eastern instruments are combined. Jia had directed the “Beijing International Compoistion Workshop” from 2011-2014, and pioneered the “Training Program for Music Criticism” in 2015, sponsored by the China National Arts Fund.
